Soufriere Sulphur City Stars hosted Choiseul Clay Pots at the CCLS Ground in a match that was reduced to 25 overs due to rain. Both teams have had to deal with an injury crisis recently and managed to field 11 players each. Choiseul won the toss and elected to field first but were unable to capitalize on their early advantage as Soufriere's openers put on 71 runs in 15 overs before rain intervened again at the end of 16 overs - which meant that Soufriere lost their two wickets while chasing 111 runs. However, they came back strongly after lunch as they took seven wickets for just 33 runs!
Choiseul won the toss and elected to field. The pitch was a slow one, which suited the Choiseul batsmen well. However, it also meant that the outfield was slow and easier to score runs on than usual. Choiseul opener Nicholas Joseph also impressed against his former team, scoring 46 off 47 deliveries before being bowled by bowler Ryan Joseph who finished with three wickets for 21 runs from nine overs.
