The Pakistani Cricket Council (PCC) and the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) have been at loggerheads over player selection and the creation of a new zone. Both associations had teams at the Under-19 Asia Cup and now are preparing for their respective domestic tournaments.
The PCC is expected to announce its squad for this month's Quaid-e-Azam Under-19 Tournament on Saturday, while VCA has already announced its team for the Vijay Hazare Trophy scheduled from March 30 to April 12.

Pakistan Cricket Control Board (PCB) has announced the squad for Pakistan Cup 2019. The tournament will be held in Rawalpindi from February 9 to March 3 and it consists of 22 matches including final.
It will feature six teams, four of which are regional teams while two are national teams. The regional sides are Lahore Blues, Karachi Kings, Peshawar Falcons and Quetta Gladiators while Islamabad United and Multan Sultans make up the national squads.
