Opposition news: They are full of confidence after their win last week against Helsingborg (Helsingborg withdrew)

  • Opposition news: They are full of confidence after their win last week against Helsingborg (Helsingborg withdrew)

  • Opponent's confidence: The team have strengthened their squad with the arrival of several new players, including defender Janne Andersson and midfielder Tobias Karlsson. "We're going to start on a high," said winger Jesper Persson. "We've had problems before but now we don't have any injuries and everyone is fit."

  • Opposition's win last week: The club won 2-1 at home against Malmö FF thanks to goals from Johan Elmander (66), who had set up the first goal in the first half when his shot hit Fredrik Berglund on its way into goal, then Henrik Larsson (82). It was Alexander Gerndt who got the third for Helsingborg in injury time.* Opposition's win against Helsingborg last week: It was an outstanding performance by the opposition that saw them come back from two goals down inside 20 minutes through Patrik Andersson (41), his 10th league goal this season, before Henrik Larsson scored one minute later for 2-2.* Opposition's win last week versus Helsingborg: The scoreline did not reflect how well they played as they created chance after chance but were let down by poor finishing or excellent saves from David Lundmark in between times.* Opposition's victory versus Helsingborg last weekend: Two late goals gave them victory over AFC Wimbledon in front of a crowd of 11 918 – more than double those managed by other clubs outside London this weekend – while four goals meant they comfortably beat Yeovil Town 4-0 away from home on Tuesday evening

Coach's comments on this week's match: Let’s play hard like we do every week and have a drink after the game, who cares what happens on the pitch?

It’s a friendly. It’s about making friends and having fun, not the result on the pitch. That said, we have been training hard all week so we hope to win!

It’s a good opportunity to relax and make new friends in a friendly environment.

The game will be played on Wednesday at 6pm local time at our usual pitch behind the club house.

Gemma's comments on this week's match: I want to make some new friends today!

Gemma is a new player who has joined the club this season. She is looking forward to playing her first game with us and meeting some new people. She's also a bit nervous about playing in the sunshine, but she knows that she'll enjoy it once we all get going.

Gemma has been studying at university for several years now, and she's hoping that this football club will provide an opportunity for her to meet more people who share similar interests as herself.

It should be a good game this weekend!
