He is the most destructive batsman in world cricket and has ability to change the course of any match single-handedly. His century in every innings against Australia was a masterclass that will be remembered for long time. In this series he averages 76 with three centuries, one 50 and one duck under his belt.
Player Notes:
Smith (Australia) – Captain of Australia team is an opening batsman who can bat anywhere down the order and usually opens along with David Warner, Glenn Maxwell or Usman Khawaja but lately he opened alongside Matt Renshaw due to injury issues with Warner who had just recovered from surgery on his collarbone after which he got hit on same spot during training session which forced him out of game resulting into making Australia play only two proper openers instead of usual three top order players like they have been doing earlier on tour as well.. Smith has scored five centuries including two double tons while averaging at 58% strike rate so far in series with 741 runs at an average of 103+ in four matches played so far out off which three completed games include both Tests where he scored two hundreds each against India along with one century against Sri Lanka during last year’s home series between these two sides..
